Hayley's story

"After taking on the challenge of a half marathon, running became a great tool to help with my mental health. It was important to me to raise money for Feeling Strong as they offer a variety of different tools to help young people in Dundee with mental health and wellbeing. For me at school, there wasn’t much of open dialogue about mental health. Even through to my early Uni days there was still a certain stigma surrounding the subject. Just opening up positive conversation about wellbeing can make a huge difference. Feeling Strong’s projects and services go above and beyond this to provide fundamental support to young people all over Dundee. Knowing the money raised was going towards this amazing work made the last bit of that half marathon so much easier!"

Anyone who raises more than £250 has earned a special, limited edition 'I raised money for Feeling Strong and I got was this lousy t-shirt!' top! To claim yours, just get in touch with us after your donations have been made and we'll get one printed up for you.
