Campaigns & content Coordinator

We're looking for a motivated self-starter to coordinate our work in our Campaigns & Content workstream. You will work with young people who face mental health and wellbeing challenges in Dundee to deliver relevant campaigns, work with partner organisations to develop our influence locally and nationally, create content across our social media and website championing our work, and build the Feeling Strong community. In this role you will work with other staff members, volunteers and partner organisations to promote better outcomes for our young people. This is a part-time role (0.6 FTE) and fixed term for 12 months.

We would particularly welcome applications from candidates who are young people with lived experience of mental health and wellbeing challenges.

who are feeling strong?

We exist to make sure that every young person in Dundee who has experienced a mental health or wellbeing challenge is supported to reach their full potential. We deliver projects, services and campaigns in the community to tackle stigma, build confidence, develop resources, create networks and most importantly support the positive recovery journey of our young people. Our services are designed by young people, delivered by young people, and for young people - we believe that this youth-led/peer-led approach is our biggest asset in tackling issues around mental health and wellbeing.

what would my role be?

We're looking for a member of staff to coordinate our workstream by working with young people and partner organisations both locally and nationally, developing unique campaigns to educate on mental health and wellbeing, creating content to suit our target audience, and engaging, interacting and growing the Feeling Strong community. Work-related travel costs will be reimbursed.

Some training and induction will be provided, and we expect the candidate to develop skills once in post, but we are looking for candidates to demonstrate intermediate skills, experience or knowledge of:
